Chiefs Face Dilemma in 'Win Now' Business

Kansas City Chiefs fans must be scratching their heads right now. The team signed back-up Quarterback Damon Huard to a three-year contract in February. Meanwhile, they are still attempting to re-structure Trent Green’s current contract. Green’s agent Jim Steiner has now received permission to seek a trade with other NFL teams.

Taking money out of the equation, General Manager Carl Peterson and Head Coach Herman Edwards have a dilemma: Do they let Trent Green bounce in favor of Damon Huard? Clearly they have chosen to keep Huard in the fold along with youngster Brodie Croyle.
